What was the Ark of Peace?
The Ark Of Peace Community Garden was donated to us by Sheldon Heights Church of Christ and we are so grateful for their generous gift.
We started the community garden during COVID-19 because we needed a way to social distance ourselves while still being able to conduct our summer youth program. (See the Summer Youth Mentoring Program tab for more info). The youth learned a ton of gardening knowledge from our master gardeners who donated so much of their time and effort to see our garden flourish.
Unfortunately, this project is now defunct, but we hope to have another opportunity such as this in the future.
